RARE 18th Century Roman Ruin Micro Mosaic Plaque, Lapis Lazuli, Temple of Minerve Medica vintage decoy This set consisting of twoRARE late 1700s to earliest 1800s micro mosaic plaque, unmounted and undamaged in lapis lazuli stone basin. Sand sized colored glass tesserae all in place, smooth and flat. Shown is the "Temple of Minerva Medica", Rome, believed dating to the 4th century. but in fact might only be located on the site of that temple, this nymphaeum (in service to mythical nymphs) and was connected to the water supply.
